Some Books to Read

I’ve been hitting the books lately.  Some interesting reads:

Software Requirements 2 (Karl Wiegers)
Great practical advice on how to do requirements management right.  This is a book you can start reading at any chapter and keep coming back to week after week to pick up more tips.

Raving Fans
This is a parable on how to design a superior experience for your customers.  It’s a short book, but to the point and gets you thinking about how your own business can improve it’s customer focus.

First Break All the Rules
All about how to be a better manager, or how better managers are crucial to today’s competitive business environment.  It’s got lots of statistics, but don’t let that distract you from the theory and advice inside.

That’s all.  I usually peek at a chapter over a day or two, or just flip around before bed.  No wonder I’ve been having dreams about being stuck inside a Gantt chart lately.
